“This product is easy to use: What I liked about this product is that the water tank can be detached for easy cleaning, the stainless steel server is easy to handle, and the design is good for the price. The only downside is that it lacks a timer function for keeping warm. However, even if it's turned off, the temperature remains acceptable for about 5 to 10 minutes, and since it's made of stainless steel, I reheat it on the IH stove if it cools down. (I'm not sure if that's the correct way to use it...)”
“I thought ¥6K was too much to spend for a coffee maker. I was wrong.: I drink a LOT of coffee--at least one pot per day. In fact, brewing a fresh pot is the first thing I do every morning. And since my wife switched to decaf a few years ago, I need to brew her a half pot every day.That means that we are brewing a total of over 600 pots of coffee per year!In the past, I have bought coffee makers from various Home Centers, brands like Zojirushi or Iris Oyama or even Tiger, and they were adequate for the purpose, given that, for many decades, they lasted five years or so, and they only cost ¥1,000-2,000.Until now!Like every thing else, the cost of these simple, previously inexpensive home appliances have doubled or even tripled in price without improving in technology or construction. In fact, the ones I looked at recently have actually decreased in quality.So rather than spend. ¥3K-¥4K for one of those "inexpensive" models, I selected this model by Tiger, which is significantly more elegant-looking than the cheaper ones, and the construction is significantly more robust, especially with the stainless steel server pot.With careful daily cleaning, I will not be surprised if I make this coffee maker last 10 years or more.If so, when you think about, then ¥6K is not too expensive at all!!Oh, and by the way, it makes GREAT coffee!!”
“Removes lingering acidity: It's convenient to pour directly into a mug. The taste is definitely cleaner compared to other coffee makers. This was a perfect choice for me. I love the aroma and often drink mocha, but I dislike the unique strong acidity. However, this coffee maker significantly reduces that acidity. It retains the sweet aroma and bitterness while eliminating the lingering acidity. I can't recommend it for those who enjoy acidity, but it's especially recommended for those who dislike the typical acidity of coffee!”
