I was surprised to learn that Zojirushi had re-entered the microwave market in 2022. I was drawn to the challenge spirit of a company entering a competitive microwave market. I thought I might not need the oven function, but the stylish design and reasonable price led me to buy this model. Once I used it, I found it incredibly quiet; I couldn't tell it was running from a distance. I was confused by the terms 'Sakureji' and 'Uki-reji,' but when I reheated fried food using Sakureji (automatic switch from microwave to grill), the coating became crispy. The dial design makes it easy to switch modes and adjust the time. One downside is that when you open the front door, it doesn't create a 180-degree flat surface with the bottom of the interior; the front door stops at a slight angle. This isn't an issue if placed low, but it might be a bit cumbersome if placed higher. Despite this drawback, I think it's a well-made product. I'm glad I purchased it.”
