However, I decided to accept the new specifications since they have evolved. It arrived today, and my first impression? The box is stylish (laughs). It comes in a case that exudes a sense of weightiness, unlike any electric toothbrush I've seen. As for the important part, the user experience is... amazing! It features a linear magnetic system for vibrations, utilizing magnetic power. Compared to the Pro series I used before, it has improved quietness while still providing a solid brushing experience! After brushing, my teeth felt smooth. This is just my first use, so I might be jumping the gun, but I’m very satisfied! For those considering a purchase, here are a couple of points to note: 1) The replacement brushes are significantly more expensive than those for the Pro series. The official ones are over 1000 yen, while you can find compatible ones for around 300 yen, but the old brushes were about 100 yen for compatible ones, so this is a bit pricey. I don’t think it’s a huge deal, though... 2) This might be because it’s an Amazon exclusive version, but it does not have the Bluetooth smartphone app connectivity feature. I tried several times, but it seems the exclusive version is made differently. *Update* It seems the IO2 does not have Bluetooth connectivity at all. I apologize for the oversight. Update 2026/4/29 3) After using it for a few days, the only point I found concerning is that while it has a pressure sensor, the light indicator is too small to notice unless you’re staring at it while brushing (it lights up red). If you upgrade to the IO4 or IO5, the ring at the base of the replacement brush lights up according to the pressure applied, so if you’re looking for that feature, you might want to invest in a higher grade model. I’m fine with just being able to brush well, so the entry model is sufficient for me... but the price difference can be two to three times during sales. As I continue to use it, I’ll update if I notice anything else. I hope this is helpful!”
