I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on something that might not work. However, I noticed that the performance of cheaper models has improved significantly, so I thought I’d take a chance and buy one for around 10,000 yen. The result? It works great! I’ve only had it for about a week, but I set it to clean once a day with a timer, and my home has become incredibly clean! Just getting rid of the dust along the walls makes such a difference. It starts cleaning on its own at the scheduled time, and I’ve grown fond of watching it work diligently. It can go down steps of about 2 cm, but it can’t climb them (though it tries). I bought a ramp on Amazon to solve that issue, and now it’s fine. It does get stuck on door mats and cables, so I make sure to clear the floor during cleaning time. I’ve also developed a habit of tidying up before it cleans, which is a nice bonus. The mapping seems to be improving too; even if chairs and larger trash cans are left in different spots, pressing the “home” button makes it return faster each day. Overall, I think it’s an amazing value for just over 10,000 yen!”
