“Sound quality (music) worse than previous models - Very good Noise-Canceling: This is my third noise-canceling headphones from the Sony WH-1000 Series. I owned the XM2 and XM4 before.I had great expectations for the 6th Generation. I am a sound engineer by profession and did a real-time subjective comparison between the XM4 and XM6 with the same music contents. To my surprise, I quickly felt that the sound was not ok with the XM6.All evaluations performed with default settings on both headphones:- FLAT EQ- Bluetooth LDAC- 16-bit/44.1kHz as well as Hi-res audio contentsSOUNDSTAGE:- very narrow- lack of depth/thickness (flat, no layers)- poor instruments separation- lack of envelopment (mostly inside your head)TONAL BALANCE:- harsh (especially around 3kHz)- fatiguing- frequency response with analog 3.5mm jack is much worse than with the XM4NOISE-CANCELING:- very efficient!- more pleasant "comfort noise" (added noise to avoid the typical “vacuum effect” when you engaged ANC)WEAR/OTHERS:- I did not use it much before I returned it but it was comfortable- need to get used to the different geometry (ear cups are more tilted than before)- soft coating is a fingerprints magnet- 3.5mm jack is very tight (difficult to insert standard cables, even the one provided)- ear cup shells seem to be made of a more rigid composite material that converts any shock into annoying noises”

You can adjust it’s EQ on the Sound Connect app.The only thing that I don’t like is that yes, the earcups do get dirty very easily. Especially if you have an oily face ( though that problem can be solved by just wiping it with a cloth but there will be some small residue that will stay. )Overall, it’s worth the money if you’re looking for a good noise cancelling headphones and if you have the funds for it since it costs ¥60,000.”

Especially if you have an oily face ( though that problem can be solved by just wiping it with a cloth but there will be some small residue that will stay. )Overall, it’s worth the money if you’re looking for a good noise cancelling headphones and if you have the funds for it since it costs ¥60,000.”
“流石SONY 一流の仕事: まず結論から言うと、すごくいい言葉が出ないけど書いていくね。音質面に関してなんだけど、多くの人がレビューしている通りでOKです。低音域タイトで締まりの良い低音域だが、しかし決して迫力がないわけではない。量感もしっかりとある。だがこの量感がちょうど良く、心地よい低音域に感じる（迫力が足りないという方も中にはいるかも）。中音域前に出るボーカル、いやこれはもう最高ですね。艶がありながら定位感があり、目を瞑るとまるで目の前で歌っているのではと錯覚してしまうほど良いですね（今どきのものだったら普通なのかな？）。まぁ私好みでした。高音域ここが一番感動しました。さすがSONYと思わされました。具体的に言うと、高音域は伸びる。ただエッジのあるような伸び方ではなく、少し角を丸められたような感じの高音域で、かつ伸びるような高音域をイメージしてもらえればわかるかな。滑らかなんですよね。スッと伸びる女性ボーカルの高音域は、聞いてて言葉にしにくいような感動がある。全体低音域はタイトでかつ迫力を損なわない量感で、中音域はしっかりと前に出る。そして艶があるように感じる。そして高音域は伸びやかに伸び、かつ耳に刺さらないような滑らかな質感で感動を与えてくれる。ノイキャン結論：強い。最強。言うことない。以上デザイン正直に言うと、この価格帯としては少し物足りなさを感じざるを得ません。プラスチック素材が多めなので、高級感はあまり感じられないのが本音です。軽量化のためだとは割り切れますが、外観の目立つ部分にもう少し金属パーツなどの高級感ある素材を使って欲しかったなと感じます。装着感側圧はうーん、微妙かな。私の頭がデカいので側圧が強く感じるだけかも。一般的な人にはちょっと側圧が強い程度で、そこまで気にするところではないね。うん。SONYの反発があるクッションはいいね。これは高級感を感じるし、極上な触り心地。折りたたみおまえは神だよ。復活おめでとう全体的にデザイン以外は文句のつけようがないくらい良い商品でした。お金に余裕がある人はぜひ買ってみてください。後悔はしないと思う。”
