“The standard band is meant to be replaced: I've been using the Smart Band 8 Active and 9 Active, but the standard band is still problematic. The position of the band holes hits the bone on my wrist, making it easy to come off. In the end, I always end up purchasing an aftermarket band, whether it's Velcro, magnetic, or a buckle style. Durability is another concern... both the 8 Active and 9 Active became unusable after about 15 months due to issues like needing a recharge every 48 hours and the screen becoming unresponsive to touch.”

I debated between cheaper models and the Apple Watch, but I was looking for something compact that could check LINE and call notifications, so I purchased this one. Connecting it to my iPhone was easy; I just downloaded the app from a QR code. The variety of home screen options is fun, allowing me to change it based on my mood. I can also select and rearrange the apps displayed, customizing it to my liking. I have set the timer, stopwatch, and weather on the main screen for work use. It also tracks sleep and has a stress check feature, which I plan to gradually utilize. The battery decreased by about 6% from a full charge in one day. At this rate, I think I can charge it once a week, so the charging hassle isn't much of a concern. I feel the cost performance is quite high. I can't answer calls, but I usually reply to calls and LINE messages on my smartphone, so it wasn't an issue for me. I have notifications for LINE, calls, and calendar turned on. Sometimes LINE emojis get garbled, but I can scroll through long messages. When linked with the calendar, I also receive notifications for my schedule, which helps prevent forgetfulness.
